The Advantage Menu (also called the Advantage Option) was a power introduced in Survivor: Tasmania. It allows the castaway who holds it to select one advantage on the list to use later in the game.

Overview

The Advantage Menu offers three potential advantages (which can potentially be time-limited) for the person who obtains it. It can be played in several different ways, according to which advantage the holder decides to use.

If an item on the menu is bought, it may be re-hidden to allow other players to buy the remaining advantages up for grabs. Depending on the season, players may be forced to give up a privilege in the game to purchase an advantage from the Menu.

The Advantage Menu can be found in a number of different ways depending on the season. This has included:

• Located through a series of clues located in different pre-merge tribe camps, hinting at the identity of a player from the Second Generation. (Tasmania)
• The Menu is found directly in a merge camp hiding spot, but the chosen power is relocated to a new hiding spot, to be found by any castaway. (Tasmania)
• Outright placed in multiple tribe camps, to be bought with SuitBucks/Vote Sacrifice, and re-hidden with remaining advantages after purchase. (All-Stars & Yucatan)
• Locked inside a multi-tribe lockbox that castaways need to locate four specific keys in order to open and claim. (Deception Island)
